PHPDownLoader is a browser-based download manager. It allows you to have your web server download large files in the background, so your computer doesn't have to be turned on all the time.

PHPDownLoader can be used to start/stop downloads from anywhere with internet access securely, if you choose to allow it. This means you could start a download at work and have it waiting for you by the time you got home.

PHPDownLoader is currently for Linux servers only.
